Background: 
Substance abuse intervention is an area of mental health practice where jobs are available with the B.S. degree,
and many of our majors have expressed interest in pursuing this line of work. This course will be part of a
Substance Abuse Concentration that is designed to provide training to students preparing for work in the substance
abuse field.
